Hi,
Which Raspberry Pi is it? Model 2B, 3B or 3B+ ?
I'm not sure, it may be a 3B or 3B+ hwinfo does not answert this. Can I see this on the CPU revision?
It is written on the board itself. Guillaume
Thx Axel

You can get that implicitly from lsusb, 3B+ has a Microchip LAN7515 USB HUB/ Ethernet, older ones have LAN7412 (2port) or LAN7414 (4port). Kind regards, Stefan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks for the hint, Stefan, I'm not so eager to break the case to look it up. lsusb reports a SMSM9512/9514 Fast Ethernet adapter - nothing with 7515 to grep in the output. The old (non-GBit) is 9512/9514, not 7412/7414, sorry for the confusion.

lsusb strings may be wrong if the value is taken from the usb.ids table and not the device itself. AFAIK SMSC/Microchip uses the chip name as product id, i.e. 0x9512, 0x9514, 0x7515. Vendor/product ID are shown in lsusb as <vid>:<pid>.
Update: It is a 3+
Another possibility of course is to check if you have GBit ethernet ... Kind regards, Stefan -- Stefan Brüns / Bergstraße 21 / 52062 Aachen home: +49 241 53809034 mobile: +49 151 50412019
