I am in the process of trying to get the EspressoBin board enabled for Tumbleweed. I have it working with my own 4.12 build, but I'd like to make it so the Tumbleweed kernel supports it out of the box.

Why do you need special config? If there is a missing option in the TW config it can be added (file a bug in bugzilla). If there is a missing devicetree or driver it should probably be submitted upstream.
