[opensuse-arm] unicam driver for rpi?
Hi, I'm trying to use the tc358743 hdmi2csi interface. AFAICT the bcm2835-unicam driver is needed for that. It's not upstream though. Looks like last attempt was in April: https://lwn.net/ml/linux-media/20200424013419.12954-1-laurent.pinchart@ideas... Does anyone know what's going on with that? Is there any other chance to get that running with TW? cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.com/ SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer HRB 36809 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

Not a direct answer to your question, but for HDMI input I currently use one of the cheap (~20€) HDMI-to-USB-2.0 dongles which started to appear a few months ago. Works out-of-the-box as these are UVC compliant. Kind regards, Stefan -- Stefan Brüns / Bergstraße 21 / 52062 Aachen phone: +49 241 53809034 mobile: +49 151 50412019

Yes, tried that too but AFAICT you cannot control the resolution. Ie can't provide your own EDID so the device always scales the image. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.com/ SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer HRB 36809 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
