[opensuse-arm] I am lost
Hi, Raspi-friends. With your activities to implement arm6 and arm7files for a variety of miniboards, I am lost to find the actual versions for RasperryPi B+ (am6) and the new Raspi 2B+ (arm7). Using OpenSuse since over 20 years, I prefer it instead of die actual Debian-Version. Thanks for your assistance Edgar Dombrowski, DJ3PU, Munich -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

You find the image for RPi1 at: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/ARM:/Factory:/Contrib:/Rasp... However this image still has a problem using YaST. The package libstorage-ruby needs an update, which is worked on. And for RPi2 at: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/ARM:/Factory:/Contrib:/Rasp... This one has the updated libstorage-ruby. -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
Hi, Freek. Thanlk you for your advice.. I have found the repos indicated. For the RPi2 repos, there are three different versions "JeOs", "LXQT" and "XFCE". What are the differences? Have a good day- Edgar, DJ3PU, Munich Am 10.06.2015 um 10:41 schrieb Freek de Kruijf:

JeOS is a minimal text-based system LXQT is graphical with the LCQT desktop environment XFCE is graphical with the XFCE desktop environment You can also take JeOS as starting point and install a desktop environment of your choice using zypper. The LXQT and XFCE have the respective desktop systems installed, and are supposed to work using a display and keyboard connected I suppose. JeOS is a more basic system. I use it headless, without display and keyboard, as a server. -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
