[opensuse-arm] openSUSE on Archos tablet
Hi All, Having a old Archos 10 1 internet tablet with ARM cpu 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 and a A101IT-V6 board . Is it possible to get openSUSE as a native system on this tablet. Its now on Android 2.4.83 and has Angstrom in the "bios" There was a dual boot possibillity once but is that also with openSUSE ARM ? Seems that this board includes a system for dual boot. ;) So you should be able to remove angstrom for openSUSE. But, it seems that this system is not supported by upstream kernel (but is OMAP3 based, like the Beagleboard that we support). We should find a kernel that support this board. Do you have any information about that? For now, you can boot Angstrom and then "chroot" to an openSUSE rootfs: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:OpenSUSE_on_your_ARM_board (just skip the qemu part since your CPU is already ARM on this tablet) Guillaume
