Thanks, I was already wondering how the cubieboard2 image works. I've converted it to the bootz code path now, but I noticed at least on cubieboard that the u-boot SPL seems to be broken. I was trying to setup the images to use the downstream u-boot but didn't find time yet to test this. Let me know if you're more lucky with cubieboard2.
