[opensuse-arm] WiFi on RPi3 with kernel 4.12
Today I am pleasantly surprised to see the installation of the 4.12 kernel on my RPi3 with Tumbleweed. Talk has been on this mailing list that this version would bring us support for WiFi. However I don't see any other network device other than lo and eth0. How do I get a wlan0 device? -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
Hi, kernel 4.12 does not include the rpi3 DTB update. It is in 4.13 only. See: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/ar... If all the other pieces are in 4.12, maybe just a DTS update will be enough? I do not know. Guillaume Le 02/09/2017 à 17:20, Freek de Kruijf a écrit :
