[opensuse-arm] Raspberry Pi2 images not booting
Hi, It looks like none of the current TW images for Rpi2 are working. Am I correct or struck by the coincedence of three faulty SD cards that do work with other distros? -- Gertjan Lettink, a.k.a. Hm, 4.8 and 4.9 kernels and both 2016.09 and 2016.11 U-Boot are working fine on my rpi2. Your message is lacking a lot of details. Like, which image you are talking about - the official Tumbleweed one or a Contrib image with unofficial kernels? Which filename exactly? What exactly does not "working" mean - there should be some output that you can share. Sometimes people were simply too impatient while Kiwi still repartitions - it may take around 10 minutes on first boot. Thanks for the reply I'm aware of the lack of output. The images I'm talking about are the ones from http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/tumbleweed/images/ , all of them from Build2.15 IIRC I had one of the images waiting for the repartitioning for > 1 hour. Will get a new HDMI cable today and hook the thing up to our TV to see if I can gather some output. FYI One of the forums members offered to provide an older image that does work on his Rpi2. Will keep you posted. -- Gertjan Lettink, a.k.a. Please retry with image version 2017.01.02 or later.
