[opensuse-arm] armv6 kernel update 4.1.3
HI! It seems kernel 4.1.3 has landed in Factory repo for armv6 but I have some doubts about package dtb-bcm2835: v | openSUSE-Factory-repo-oss | dtb-bcm2835 | 4.0.5-41.1 | 4.1.2-45.1 | armv6hl v | openSUSE-Factory-repo-oss | kernel-default | 4.0.5-3.1 | 4.1.3-1.1 | armv6hl As you can see its version is 4.1.2-45.1. Does that fit kernel 4.1.3? Ciao, Michael.

I've successfully re-installed a problematic rpi1 installation with image openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi.armv6l-1.12.1-Build330.4.raw with kernel 4.1.3. But it does not setup the USB WLAN interface right during boot. wlan0 is bridged together with eth0, hostapd is listening on wlan0 for access point function. I can manually configure the bridged interface on console after login without problems though. This setup used to work without any issues with kernel 4.0.5. All other systems using only eth0 are working without any issues. In syslog there are some messages like this: wickedd[502]: ni_process_reap: process 890 has not exited yet; now doing a blocking waitpid() [..] wickedd-nanny[507]: device wlan0: call to org.opensuse.Network.Interface.linkUp() failed: General failure wickedd-nanny[507]: wlan0: failed to bring up device, still continuing It seems it tries to setup wlan0 but fails for some reason. Ciao, Michael.

Hmm, symlinking back to kernel 4.0.5 did not help either. There was also an update to wicked 0.16.9 (from 0.16.7?). Maybe this is the culprit... Ciao, Michael.

FYI: Finally dtb-bcm2835-4.1.3-47.1 reached this system and now it works. Ciao, Michael.
