[opensuse-arm] Question regrading openSUSE:Factory:ARM:*
Hi all, Today I notice that sub projects of openSUSE:Factory:ARM: exist on OBS. I would like to know what the policy is of these sub-projects. Would like to know if it would be possible to get a AC100 sub-project, for AC100 specific packages like kernel, image etc? We already have a repo for that here: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=openSUSE%3AFactory%3AARM%3AC... If the name is too generic for the packages, we can always create a new one. Since Andreas is the owner of that Tegra sub-project, please coordinate with him on how to work on it :). Is it an option to copy home:worldcitizen:armv7l/kernel-tegra-ac100 and home:worldcitizen:armv7l/JeOS-ac100, home:worldcitizen:armv7l/u-boot-ac100 to openSUSE:Factory:ARM:Contrib:Tegra. So the kernel, uboot (that hasn't been tested at all yet, by me) and the image are build here.
Alex

Hm, since this is Tegra, does it fit also for the allwinner a10 tablets? I like to spend some evening in getting it booting on my asus tablet the other day .... -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

Sorry, I got held up by absence and sickness. The idea was to host kernels for ac100 and colibri-t20 etc. there. I was hoping to package the fdt-based kernel-ac100-next [1] in time for oSC - maybe we can do it together there? I was hoping for the Contrib project to improve our situation rather than just publishing the old kernels [2] we're already using. ;) But we can do both of course. I'd also be interested in packaging abootimg for automated boot image generation. abootimg has been packaged, by sleep walker, it's a part of Factory also build for ARM now.

Both uboot-next as kernel-for-next have been build for the ac100. They both haven't been tested yet, I probably still need to tweak the .config for the kernel. I will do that later, in Prague.
