Hi Guillaume, indeed for Leap it shouldn't be a pressing feature, but since the links are hardcoded in Ignition, if a new fix is required in the future, it will be necessary to go through a git pull request again. For 42.3, we had symlinks for rootfs only.

Once (really) published, version numbers should not change anymore. Please note, that we still need to update the current version.

Dirk, do you think we could get symlinks without version numbers included for Leap 15.0? By the way, we should push the current version since the published version is broken for a number of boards.

I own a cubox-i and I'm working to add support for Leap images to Ignition (a GUI to download and flash SD cards with your favorite distro; https://wiki.solid-run.com/doku.php?id=products:imx6:software:os:ignition). For maintenance reasons, a version-agnostic symlink to the latest Leap image would be of great help (for Tumbleweed there is already). Do you think it can be done in conjunction with next image publication?
