Hi, I've added a bash overlay in openSUSE:Factory:ARM which reverts this change: ------------------------------------------------------------------- Fri Nov 18 12:03:56 UTC 2011 - werner@suse.de - Enforce bind references to global function symbols to the definition within libreadline As that solves the issue with bash not really being able to handle backspace and other things, which makes arm based Factory installations somewhat useable again. I believe this avoids that "stdout" symbol is bound to the same instance in bash and libreadline, which seems to cause the issue. I don't really know why yet, so I have not yet submitted this back to Werner.
