Ok, got past that point now - but the next thing is that booting takes _ages_ - I'm not even sure if it _is_ booting yet - I've just got to the point where the kernel is being loaded. Here's the boot process: http://pastebin.com/hHxiZJ5C It has literally taken 5 minutes to get to the "booting the kernel" part and it has been stuck exactly there since then.
