Speaking of systemd, have you looked into https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/issues/1192 at all? I have some experimental unit files for worker bootstrap and chroot builds here: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:a_faerber:branches:OBS:Server:U... With the server side I haven't messed yet.
