I've updated my Raspberry PI 2 to Tumbleweed snapshot 20200226.
After the update only the rainbow-colored screen appears but after that only a black screen, no boot.
See below the directory listings of /boot and /boot/efi.
Did you try with a fresh image on another microSD?
I've now tried a fresh install with [1] but same result. Black screen after the rainbow screen.
No, I cannot provide serial output because I don't have a serial adaptor.
U-Boot does not boot at all. It seems to be due to bad DTB on fat partition. If I replace the DTB by the one from published Leap 15.2 image [1], u-boot and Linux boot properly.
I tested latest, unpublished, Leap 15.2 image from [2] and it does not boot either! Matthias, Nicolas, any idea what is wrong with latest DTBs? Maybe DTB from 5.5 branch is not working with RPi2 and/or older kernels?
I'm looking into it. It's curious that the armv7 image works fine with rpi3b. I guess it narrows the error space. Regards, Nicolas
