Hello List,
I am using a Raspberry Pi B+ with openSuSE already, now I have acquired a Raspberry Pi 2. Alas openSuSE doesn’t seem to be prepared to provide an update to that end.
Is anything in the works ? Or can one produce his own version using OBS ?
I am trying to prepare an ARM V7 image for the RPi V2. It is taking me much longer than I expected to figure out how to build the kernel and image using the opensuse build system. I would be pleased if someone beats me to it, but I intend to continue working on it. I have opensuse running on an older ARM V6 RPi and my RPi V2 is running Raspbian. I HATE having to work with a Debian based distribution. I know a lot about RPMS and zypper and it is very different working with dpkg and debs, and I would rather learn more about opensuse than learn more about debian. If I get it done before anyone else I will announce it on this list. Bill -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
