There is no way around that IMHO, otherwise other builds like kiwi, installation-images and friends will also fail, I guess. Question is if we can start udevd manualy in build script, if no initrd got specified as workaround ...

This seems to be blocking the 12.3 kernel update, as that one fails to build.
