Has anyone been playing with one of these? I'm not making much progress myself - eventually I'd like to get openSUSE running of course, but for starters, I'm just trying with the ubuntu core from http://wiki.friendlyarm.com/wiki/index.php/NanoPi_NEO_Air
The device seems to be booting (blue light flashing), but it's not picking up an IP-address from dhcp.
Have you looked at my JeOS-nanopineo? Should be fairly similar. Upstream kernel did not have some drivers yet, there's a bug open where David is tracking those.
Yes, I did try that initially (before Sportferien). I've just now downloaded openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-nanopineo.armv7l-2017.01.17-Build5.2.raw.xz copied it to the SD card, and added /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-wlan0 Boot-up - the green LED comes on at low intensity, then goes high after a little while. The blue LED never lights up and it doesn't request an IP-address. That's why I switched to the Ubuntu core from friendlyarm. I must be missing something essential, I just can't put my finger on it. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (5.9°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free dynamic DNS, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
