Quoting Joop Boonen <joop.boonen@boonen.org>:
I saw the image wasn't build yet. It's build now. With the kernel inside too WindowMaker and xorg. Great, but what does it mean to "users" such as me? Can I start testing 12.2 beta on a Efika smartbook? Do we already have installation notes somewhere? Changes to an AC100 image have nothing to do with the Efika.
The only available installation notes are here: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:OpenSUSE_on_your_ARM_board (or scattered throughout the opensuse-arm list archives)
Most people seem to be concentrating on the Pandaboard, everything else is less well documented... I am working on adding instructions for a simple qemu-arm chroot and for getting the AC100 up and running using the official JeOS rootfs plus Joop's kernel.

We have also some pages on support level and tests done on some targets: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Supported_ARM_boards http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Beagleboard_%28xM%29 But not all people fill/create those pages. I can help with Beagleboard xM since I have this board. Cheers, Guillaume -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
