I tested openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-olinuxinolime2.armv7l-2016.04.22-Build1.1.raw.xz and there is no ethernet working with that build. the journal lists Jan 01 01:00:29 nohostname systemd[1]: Starting wicked managed network interfaces... Jan 01 01:00:29 nohostname kernel: libphy: PHY stmmac-0:ffffffff not found Jan 01 01:00:29 nohostname kernel: eth0: Could not attach to PHY Jan 01 01:00:29 nohostname kernel: stmmac_open: Cannot attach to PHY (error: -19) Jan 01 01:00:29 nohostname wickedd[539]: eth0: failed to bring up interface (rtnl error) Jan 01 01:00:29 nohostname wickedd-nanny[547]: device eth0: call to org.opensuse.Network.Interface.linkUp() failed: General failure Jan 01 01:00:29 nohostname wickedd-nanny[547]: eth0: failed to bring up device, still continuing Jan 01 01:00:32 nohostname wicked[550]: lo up Jan 01 01:00:32 nohostname wicked[550]: eth0 device-not-running Jan 01 01:00:33 nohostname systemd[1]: Started wicked managed network interfaces. I compared the device tree with upstream and also with other boards that have gigabit ethernet. And they seem to be ok. The board has a RTL8211C which requires the realtek.ko module. That is in the image but not loaded. Br, Frank -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
