It is theoretically possible, but we don't have support for that in OBS yet. Our measurements show though that the use of qemu-accel is the same speed like cross-compiling at a fraction of the (development) cost. It is a bit of a trade-off decision: do you optimise for development or for build time. We prefer optimising on development time, since that tends to be more precious (or more expensive).
