Hi,
I'm not sure, if I should update to factory, because I use the Pandaboard as (owncloud-)server. How stable is the arm factory? I guess this is a stupid question... Are there any advantages against my used image?
Other than much newer packages, the main difference is I think that we hacked more graphics support into the pandaboard image. I don't know the details, but Alex should be able to explain.
Back then we only backported omapdss to the older 12.2 based kernel. So from the kernel perspective, Factory should include everything that 12.2 did.

Since I actually not using any graphical output, I will not switch to factory at the moment. Thanks for your information, guys! Regards, endym -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
