Hi,
I also tested the cubox-i images for Leap 42.2 and TW. And filled https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1015013 (Leap) and https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1015185 (TW).

Hi Matthias,
on the working system the following modules are loaded:
Module Size Used by brcmfmac 241664 0 brcmutil 20480 1 brcmfmac cfg80211 524288 1 brcmfmac
I checked the kernel config and they are all build as modules.
and the following packages installed:
pullin-bcm43xx-firmware & b43-fwcutter from openSUSE-Ports-Tumbleweed-repo-oss b43-firmware from packman
I think that is not needed. Your device should have a BCM4330 or BCM4329 and both are supported by upstream kernel (afaik). The problem I had was, that brcm/brcmfmac4330-sdio.txt was not available (see dmesg).
https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/448673 should fix it. Having brcmfmac4330-sdio.txt lists a wlan0 in /sys/class/net/ and the firmware is loaded: [ 511.430292] brcmfmac: brcmf_c_preinit_dcmds: Firmware version = wl0: Oct 25 2011 19:34:12 version 5.90.125.104 [ 511.449619] brcmfmac: brcmf_cfg80211_reg_notifier: not a ISO3166 code (0x30 0x30) Best, Tom -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
