Hello,
I get following error with the image "LimeJeOS-openSUSE-12.2-ARM-panda.armv7l-1.12.2-Build1.1.raw.xz" on a Pandaboard ES:
U-Boot SPL 2011.09 (Jun 01 2012 - 22:47:25) Texas Instruments OMAP4460 ES1.1 OMAP SD/MMC: 0 mkimage signature not found - ih_magic = 0 Assuming u-boot.bin ..
After this nothing happens.
Yeah :(. Sorry for not notifying the ML. We had the same thing yesterday. Apparently someone removed our Factory:ARM u-boot-omap4panda package, which meant we were building the Factory one, which does not include ext2 support.
was me most likely. Sorry, I thought, I diff'ed all duplicate packages before removing.
anyway, should go to standard factory asap ...
Well, I talked to the maintainer of u-boot during embedded world and basically came to the conclusion that we're better off using only recent upstream u-boot (no Linaro sources) with their recent SPL implementation. That way we should be able to get rid of most of the patches I did to u-boot-omap*. So the state we have today is good as intermediate step, but I don't think we should submit it to Factory. I'd rather like to have the generic solution in there. Alex -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
