Hello folks, we are happy to announce the availability of Uyuni 2024.05. Most openSUSE mirrors should already have 2024.05, but if you do not see it yet, wait a few hours until your local openSUSE mirror is synced. At https://www.uyuni-project.org/pages/stable-version.html you will find all the resources you need to start working with Uyuni 2024.05, including the release notes, documentation, requirements and setup instructions. Please remember that future release of Uyuni 2024.07 will only be available as containers (no more RPM release from this point of time onwards) Some of the highlights for this release include: - Removal of technical preview for the Uyuni Server/Proxy container image - Native support for AppStream repositories - Automatic migration from Salt 3000 to the Salt Bundle - Confidential Computing Attestation: Secure Boot module - Monitoring: Grafana upgraded to 9.5.18 (with CVE-2024-1313 fix) Please refer to the release notes for the full list: https://www.uyuni-project.org/pages/stable-version.html#releasenotes Remember that Uyuni follows a rolling release planning, so the next version will contain bugfixes for this one and any new features. There will be no maintenance of 2024.05.
