Uyuni 2023.09 is released!
VERY IMPORTANT: Uyuni 2023.09 switches the base OS for the Server and the Proxy to openSUSE Leap 15.5. Make sure you read the release notes before updating! We are happy to announce the availability of Uyuni 2023.09. Most openSUSE mirrors should already have 2023.09, but if you do not see it yet, wait a few hours until your local openSUSE mirror is synced. At https://www.uyuni-project.org/pages/stable-version.html you will find all the resources you need to start working with Uyuni 2023.09, including the release notes, documentation, requirements and setup instructions. This is the list of highlights for this release: - Upgrade notes (read them carefully!) - Base system upgrade to openSUSE Leap 15.5 - New minimal requirements for the memory - Salt 3006.0 (read carefully the upgrade notes) - New products enabled - EoL of Ubuntu 18.04 - Grafana 9.5.5 (read carefully the update notes) - Prometheus 2.45.0 - Apache exporter 1.0.0 - Postgres exporter 0.10.1 - Node exporter 1.5.0 (read carefully the update notes) - Ansible integration officially supported - Installation of PTFs from Uyuni - Recurrent Custom States - New system-profile-refresh Taskomatic job - Notification for available updates Remember that Uyuni follows a rolling release planning, so the next version will contain bugfixes for this one and any new features. There will be no maintenance of 2023.09.
