Dear openSUSE community, The sixth Free and Open source Software Developers' European Meeting (commonly known as FOSDEM) took place during the last weekend of February in the city of Brussels, Belgium. The openSUSE project participated at FOSDEM with both a "DevRoom" and a small booth. Overall it was an outstanding event that all of us really enjoyed. Many thanks to the FOSDEM organizational committee, especially Pascal, for making this possible! For those of you who didn't make it to FOSDEM, we have recorded the nine talks and three speed talks about openSUSE, SUSE Linux, and the work of SUSE R&D. The slides and audio & video recordings of these talks are available at: http://en.opensuse.org/FOSDEM2006 A picture gallery featuring the openSUSE team @ FOSDEM is also available at: http://gallery.openSUSE.org/fosdem2006/ One of the most important topics for the openSUSE project was the first public introduction of the openSUSE build service. Find more information about this project--documentation, source code, and mailing list--at: http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service In conclusion, we would like to thank all of you who took part in FOSDEM and helped to make it a great success. Now it's time for your feedback, impressions, suggestions, etc. Have a lot of fun... the openSUSE team
