I have an eval system from Dell with dual Intel EM64T cpus, 12 GB of memory, and an Nvidia graphics card. I loaded Suse 9.1, and the load went fine, but when I load the nvidia drivers (6629), and startx, the screen just goes black, and everything is locked up. I have to power off to restart the system. I put the Suse 9.2 install CD in, but it doesn't see the disk drives, so won't load... ( 2 SATA drives )... Seems wierd that 9.1 sees them, but not 9.2 (unless it is the memory issue - this system has 12 GB of memory...may try going under 4 GB to try install :( I don't really have much control from the BIOS level on this machine... Anyone have one of these systems running with graphics ?
