I wonder hoes does openSUSE x86_64 manage x84 applications? I there some sort of compatibility layer? Does this work for all x84 applications? What problems can I expect? Any information (or urls) would be appreciated!

Quite well, and I believe you mean 32 bit or x86.
I there some sort of compatibility layer?
There are many compatibility 32 bit libraries installed.
Does this work for all x84 applications?
Again, x86 and I'm not sure. I suppose if the 32 bit libraries are installed, since the processor supports it.
What problems can I expect? Any information (or urls) would be appreciated!
Possibly needing a 32 bit library that is not already available.
