SuSe 9.3 & Via 8237R chipset.

From what I can tell the default SuSe 9.3 kernel has support for the Via K8M800 and VT8237R chipset. However when I go to install it can't seem to detect my WD 36GB Raptor SATA drive. Anyone know if this is supported in this default kernel?
