From what I can tell the default SuSe 9.3 kernel has support for the Via K8M800 and VT8237R chipset. However when I go to install it can't seem to detect my WD 36GB Raptor SATA drive. Anyone know if this is supported in this default kernel?

Have you enabled it in the bios? In my asus k8v I had to enable in the raid option in the bios. Good luck...
