Amd Athlon 64 Availability
Hi, Does anybody know when will AMD Athlon 64 be available? Also, can you tell me if all versions of Suse support 64 bits, or only the server versions? What are the best gains from using a 64 bit architecture? Thanks in advance, Filipe Joel de Almeida

So far SuSE has released a SuSE Linux Enterprise Server as stable product and a beta of SuSE Linux 8.2 Professional. We will later release a stable SuSE Linux Professional.
What are the best gains from using a 64 bit architecture?
