Re: registration code for SuSE 9.0/AMD64
I looks like I wrote too soon. I have found a 14 character string that looks like a registration code on the back of the DVD's jewel box. I'm reinstalling yet again; when I'm done, I'll need to figure out what to use for a password for YOU. "M. I presume that my wife got rid of the box during house cleaning, thinking that only the manuals and DVD were necessary. Consequently, having reinstalled the OS from the patch CD Andi Kleen pointed me to in January followed by the original DVD, I find that I have no registration code for Online Updates. I had done an Online Update after the last install of the OS (actually, it was a preinstall by Monarch Computer). If I had entered a code and password from a registration card in the box to accomplish that update (I can't remember whether I entered these), are they saved in some database at SuSE in a form whereby they can be emailed to me so that I can once again take advantage of YOU? If not, short of buying another boxed copy of SuSE 9.0/AMD64, what can I do to gain access to YOU?
