Hi I have a compaq 3240US laptop.I am running SuSe 9.1 64 bit on it. I am palning to get DSL connection so what modem should I buy so that I work. I am little bit disaapointed with my laptop since , modem , cardreader & the WiFi is not working. So at least DSL should work for me since then I can upgrade my system & hope that some of the device will work. Also I am having probel to dual boot XP. Generally in my desktop box I chain load XP even when it is on hda2. But in my laptop it is in hda1 but still can not chain load XP. What chipset is used by your cardreader ? If it is Winbond's W83L518D and W83L519D SD/MMC, then there is a working MMC driver at http://projects.drzeus.cx/wbsd Oleg.
