If you want a SUSE kernel with forcedeth support, try either 2.6.x from ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/kraxel/ or download forcedeth.o for k_athlon-2.4.21-166 from http://www.hailfinger.org/carldani/linux/patches/forcedeth/
Note the name of the list. A 32bit driver is unlikely to work. -Andi

One of the SUSE AMD64 machines served as a testing harness and I can't complain about problems. I will try to get a few more tests run by someone inside SUSE but for now I can at least confirm that forcedeth never locks up whereas nvnet does that from time to time. (on 32bit platforms)
