If it does not find anything, but your drives, etc. still partitioned and installed then you are using them as singles and not raid.

I don't want to use it as raid! I want to use it for my cd-rw. In the bios of controller it is detected! But it isn't detected by yast or Linux! I don't know, if the drivers are ok. How can I find out?
