is there a CPU number limit in SuSE 10?
I have not been able to find this info on the web or in the documentation. This is a four CPU system to be used as a graphics rendering workstation, not a server. Will SuSE-AMD64 10 work with a four processor system? Has anyone made it work? My rendering guy wants the multimedia and graphics he can get on SuSE 10 that he cannot get on SLES. Thank-you. melissa

This is only two CPUs, but we are running SuSE 10 on a Render 5300 series from LanTech (http://www.lantechpc.com). Dual AMD with dual cores. 8 GB or RAM. No problems so far. Steve Wickert BasePoint
