I've performed the upgrade on a single CPU machine. My only "failure?" if you will is the image for the grub screen is gone so the grub boot loader is in text mode. Other than that everything that I use it for functions normally. There is a section in the release notes (manuals) about what will not be updated doing an upgrade vs fresh install, but none of it was applicable to my system. -Alain. -----Original Message----- From: James D.
