Hello!
Is it possible to use software suspend on x86-64?
Only with kernel 2.6. But this is one of the new features of the 2.6 kernel that is still worked on AFAIK.
Unofortunately, I'll have turn off my workstation every evening :-(

The latest state i heard is: it works with IO-APIC off and some magic acpi_sleep kernel options. The main problem seems to be to reinit the video card properly. I heard someone has it working with a Radeon 7xxx. For me it didn't work last time I tried. I would not rely on it working currently, sorry. -Andi
