I tried to find BCM5700 Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet module parameters - and w/o success :-( (I'm using SuSE 9.0 for x86_64). Sorry, where is bcm5700 documentation ? (I need to force 10/100/1000 Mbps setting or half/full duplex setting). Yours Mikhail Kuzminsky Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry Moscow
You shouldn't use the broadcom driver at all, it is deprecated and proprietary, use the tg3 (tigon3) module, it supports almost all boards which use broadcom chipsets. Kind regards Joel W

We have the Broadcom-Driver running on a Quad Operon (Tyan S4882) with Suse 9.1. They are working fine, but maybe don't work with your system. Anyway here the link: http://www.tyan.com/support/html/drivers_linux.html You could also think about a newer Suse release (9.2) or yust wait a few weeks for 9.3. The tg3 driver is included in 9.1 and also in 9.2 prof and should work, it also worked with our system (I tried both) Regards, N. Eschricht
