No I found no solution. I didn't made the kernel update... because I thought that this problem may occur. Somehow there must be a posibility to write the raid driver after the kernel update... but I don't know how. I got the 9550SX-4LP. It works great. OS: Suse 10. The only thing I had to do is a firmware update to the controller and to specify the drivers at Suse installation.

Now, I read about some problems when updating Suse ... more exactly a kernel update, that the drives are not seen anymore after a reboot. This problem has happened to me -- do you have any more details? I have not yet found a fix.
