Upgrade to amd64 from 32bit
Hi! I have an amd64 box without a DVD drive. 9.1 amd64 was on a dvd. So I installed the 32 bit version, and I was wondering if I can ?upgrade? (sidegrade) to the amd64 version. If so, how? I don't have a floppy, but I could hook it up to a network and access the AMD64 DVD from it. TIA R.

No.

You could try to use a network installation using the iso image that I put into ftp.suse.com/pub/people/aj/... Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE Linux AG, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
