Hi! I deeply depend on afs/openafs. As there seem to be no way to use afs with a 2.6 kernel I would like to run a 2.4 kernel. Is there any way I can run a 2.4 Kernel with SuSE 9.1, be it rpm or selfmade, on my k8 cpu? In the later case, would there be any tool to revert my modprobe.conf to a modules.conf? As a last attempt I could also try to use an modules.conf from my old machine, which was generated by SuSE 7.2. Thanks, Stefan Mit schönen Grüßen von Yahoo! Mail - http://mail.yahoo.de

9.1 will not really work with a 2.4 kernel, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE Linux AG, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
