Hi, I thought it may interest some people in this forum. We published a SuSE Linux 9.2 Live CD image for x86-64 based machines. You can download the ISO image at -> ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/x86_64/live-cd-9.2/ Functionality is limited due to the small space available on a CD. But it's still nice to show off 64 bits... :) BB
Would there be a tool that is there so we can benchmark the differences? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bodo Bauer" <bb@suse.de> To: <suse-amd64@suse.com> Sent: Saturday, November 20, 2004 02:04 Subject: [suse-amd64] x86-64 Live CD

Benchmarking anything that comes from a LiveCD does not make sense. The CD is too slow for that, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

Thanks a lot for that, I did not dare to hope to get such a CD! Regards, Matt
