Hello, What is the best way to get and install the latest kernel (2.6.10 or later), without breaking compiled driver modules, specifically the 3w_9xxx (3Ware) module? Thank you, James

Well I'm going through the paces right now. Read /usr/src/linux/README.SUSE. Also the manual explains the steps. I went to kernel.org and downloaded 2.6.11.12 and I'm slaying the dragons as they appear. Don't forget to modify your /boot/grub/menu.lst file such that you can recover in case your new kernel doesn't work.
