Sorry, I forgot to ask if the second problem, about USB memory stick, is solved too. The problem is the same on an AMD64 laptop (Athlon64) or an AMD64 desktop (Opteron) with SuSE 9.1 and kernel 2.6.5 : it is not possible to read an USB 2.0 memory stick (an HyperDrive in this case). No problem with an USB 1.1 one. This problem does not exist with SuSE 9.0 AMD64 (kernel 2.4.21) on these same PCs. is there a significant progress for reading USB 2.0 memory sticks. Regards Pascal

I'm not aware of any general problems with USB 2.0 memory sticks, it could be just a problem with thta specific one - and I'm convinced that we don't have the same for testing ;-) Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE Linux AG, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
