All, Thanks for all your help with the 9.1 install. I was a bit concerned that Suse would overwrite all my existing /boot data, but it did not. One of my main reasons for upgrading to Suse 9.1 was get my SCSI card working. It's an Initio 9100 UW. During initialization, I get the following error: linux modprobe: FATAL: Module initio not found. This module was present in Mandrake 9.2, although failed to initialize my card on my ASUS SK8N system. This card works perfectly fine under Redhat 8.0 on my HP Omnibook. Has support for this card gone the way of the do-do? Thanks. -- Michael White "To protect people from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools." -Herbert Spencer, 1891

Yes, it has. The driver is still in the tree, but nobody ever fixed it up for 2.6, since it has been unmaintained for some time. That is why it is not compiled. -Andi
