Download directory for SLES8 updated packages
Is there a directory or FTP site where I can go to pick and choose the rpm packages I want to use to update my system? There are a few packages in the UnitedLinux SP2 that I want, but I don't want to install the entire patch. It's huge, and updates things I dont want touched. -- Steve Williams "The woods are lovely, dark and deep. steve at icarus.com But I have promises to keep, http://www.icarus.com and lines to code before I sleep, http://www.picturel.com And lines to code before I sleep."

In a nutshell: Download the SP2 CD, burn it, start YaST and invoke "PatchCD" and then only update those packages you like to have. But note that some packages might need to go together... I think the easiest way to do that is to download the ISO and loopback mount it and install the rpms from there you want manually -Andi
