PCMCIA card (modem) and SuSE 10.1
Hello all I have installed the new SuSE 10.1 AMD64 on my Asus laptop L5D. The SuSE 9.2 AMD64 is still running on it. I know that it was very difficult to use my PCMCIA cards, but with the right tunning in /etc/pcmcia/config.opts and config, all goes right, in particular with my OneCom modem. But with SuSE 10.1, I have a problem with this card : well recognized (according to pccardctl) but no device given at boot system (NB : the /etc/pcmcia/config.opts is the same as for the SuSE 9.2 and this last one gives /dev/ttyS4 at boot). What do I have to do for getting a device ? As for information, an Asus WL-107g wifi card is well recognized and the module rt2500 (compiled from source CVS) is well loaded : it seems that there is no problem with some PCcard. Thansk for your answer
