Acroread 5.010-4.1 Broken
After doing a YOU update, tried Acroread but it still does not work. I had this same problem earlier, posting 10 Jan., "Adobe pdf viewer". Opening a pdf file defaults to +260 magnification and about 1/4 of the page is lost on the right hand margin. There is no vertical or horizontal scroll bar. My previous fix for this was to revert to Acroread 5.09-6 which worked fine. I have again installed Acroread 5.09-6 and it works. Janis

You might try renaming the ~/.acrobat/prefs file to prefs.old and see if the newer version works ok then. I have no idea if that will work, but it might be worth a try. Scott -- POPFile, the OpenSource EMail Classifier http://popfile.sourceforge.net/ Linux 2.6.8-24.10-default x86_64

I should add that acroread 5.010-4.1 is working fine here on 9.2, no symptoms like you describe. Scott -- POPFile, the OpenSource EMail Classifier http://popfile.sourceforge.net/ Linux 2.6.8-24.10-default x86_64

I am running a completely stock 9.2, only YOU updates and no outside programmes so I don't think that it is outside interference. System is Opteron on Tyan K8W so nothing outlandish there either. Janis
